Alice's maritagium was the manor of Deddington, Oxford [Ref: Weis AR7 #234A]

often identified in secondary sources as the mother of William's three daughters, Hawise, Mabel, and Bertha. Contemporary records indicate, however, that Alice had no surviving issue by William Malet. At her death her heirs were her Biset daughters, Margery, Ela, and Isabel [Ref: Richardson RoyalAnc v4p2(1)]

Alice's three children by John Bisset were coheirs of Alice's sister, Philippa Basset, but not the Malet children; so possibly the Malet children were by an earlier wife [Ref: Weis AR7 #234A]
