Research Notes:
the statement that Margaret was Robert's child, by Margaret, da and coh of Sir John Godard, is incorrect (Test Ebor, vol ii, pp.275-76, vol iv, p.123). See also p193(h) below. Robert had two brothers, George and James, and a sister Anne, who was adm to the Corpus Christi Gild, York, in 1486. The statement in Ughtred Ped (p.401) that Robert (d.1472) had a da Margaret is wrong. See p162(i) above. [Ref: CP XII/2 p162(i), CP XII/2 p163(h)]
