Research Notes:
Strathallan p11 says that the father of Margaret Ruthven, wife of Sir Walter Drummond d.1455, was Sir Patrick Ruthven of that Ilk. Chronology does not allow this. We follow Malcolm p44-5 which identifies her father as Sir William Ruthven of that Ilk. [Ref: Thompson CharlesII v13-96(100)]
